Chive Scones

210g All-purpose flour
10g Baking powder
60g Buttercup
40g Sugar
80g UHT milk
1 Egg
1 tsp Chives
1. Sieve flour and baking powder twice.
2. Add in Buttercup and rub in using a paddle on slow speed for 1 minute until the mixture crumbles.
3. Dissolve the sugar in egg and milk. Then, add them into the flour mixture over 30 seconds mix on slow speed and then scrape them down.
4. Add chives and mix for another 1 minute.
5. Scrape out the dough onto a floured worktop. Slightly flatten the dough and then fold it into half.
6. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
7. Then, cut out individual scones using a pastry cutter.
8. Place them on a tray and let them rest for 15 minutes.
9. Bake at 220°C for 15-18 minutes.
